CGI is a problem-solving mathematics program for grades K-3 that takes children's knowledge as central to instructional decision-making. Teachers use research-based knowledge about childrens' mathematical thinking to help them learn how to build on this knowledge iin classroom instruction. The materials include videotapes, a book of readings with an accompanying CD, and a guide for workshop leaders.
