We have too many students who lag behind
Summary
Many students lag behind the pace needed to meet state and district standards. This achievement gap in mathematics will leave these students short of opportunities to enter college without remediation and, in some cases, short of passing exams for high school graduation. What can be done to help students catch up in their mathematical development so they can reach state and district standards and be prepared for post-secondary mathematics, if desired?
