TERC is a nonprofit education research and development organization that aims to improve mathematics, science, and technology teaching and learning. TERC works in areas such as development of curriculum, research, professional development, equity, and out-of-school learning.

TERC is well known for its development of the K-5 mathematics curriculum, Investigations in Number, Data, and Space. They are currently working on numerous projects related to teaching and learning mathematics and science with K-12 students that include curricula, teacher resources, games, and web-based tools.
